Hoping to move forward

Louts are looking ahead to a new start after their worse season last year. The team which finished eightieth in last year’s championship. Today the team release first pictures of the Mercedes powered E023.

The team technical director Nick Chester says “The E23 Hybrid represents a massive step forward for us. It’s no secret that we struggled with last year’s car so we’ve targeted every area that caused us an issue.”

The team has stuck with last year’s line-up of Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldondao. The CEO of the team Matthew Carter says the team is confident of a big step forward and have optimism going into the new season.

 

Hewlett-Packard to aid Sauber

The sauber team have announced a partnership with Hewlett-Packard. The team will use the igh Performance Computing Competence Centre in Grenoble to help them improve there championship standings.

The managing director of Hewlett Packard Marcel Borgo says “Formula One demands peak performance from individuals and technology, Hewlett-Packard is very pleased to support the Sauber F1 Team in the area of High Performance Computing and thus to strengthen the team.”

 

Revolution still called for

The new Ferrari boss Maurizio Arrivabene believes F1 needs a revolution before 2017 to prevent the loss of more fans.

There is questions remaining still for the sport after the bankruptcy of Marussia and Caterham last year after they went into administration. Arrivabene told ESPN “I too would like to see cars that win over the fans, with cars that they can get closer to and that are aesthetically more appealing, maybe even producing a noise that gets your hair standing on end, like that produced by a heavy metal band”

This week f1 bosses are continuing there talks over the future of the sport. They will discuss e leap to 1000bhp cars this week, with talks ongoing. But Arrivabene also wants to see a revolution away from the track as well as on it.
