Ron Dennis pays tribute to Patty McLaren

Over the weekend it was with great sadness, that Patty Mclaren widow of  McLaren founder Bruce Mclaren had passed away.  CEO and Chairman of McLaren said “”Patty was a wonderful woman, and, over the 46 years that have elapsed since Bruce’s death in a testing accident at Goodwood in the summer of 1970, she has always remained close to the company that bears her husband’s name” He went on to say that “On behalf of all 3000 of us at McLaren, I therefore pay tribute to Patty and offer our heartfelt condolences to her family and many friends”

Mercedes assume that Ferrari will beat them.

Despite being dominate in proceedings in the last two seasons. Mercedes Andy Cowell has said the team are ‘assuming (we) will lose to Ferrari in the 2016 season.’

Cowell also commented “The improvements that Ferrari have made over the last 12 months is huge. Everybody in Brixworth is saying “I wonder how we’re going to do this Season. They’re not assuming they are gong to win, in fact they are assuming that Ferrari are going to beat us.

 

Sauber passes crash tests, ahead of late car debut.

Sauber remains on course to unveil it’s latest challenger at the second testing later this month. Sauber is the seventh team that has declared it has been giving the green light by FIA regarding it’s chassis. They Join Manor, Toro Rosso, Hass, Ferrari, Force India and Renault.
