Features Previews

Round three of the 2016 season takes Formula One back to Asia and the Shanghai international Circuit. Built on a swap in the early 2000’s the circuit which is made up of long straights and fast flowing corners like in Bahrain.

The circuit has a mix of long fast flowing corners and the lay out is based around the Shang character in the alphabet which the city is named after. The circuit starts with a very technical turns 1-4 which sees cars turn in and out of two tricky corners before a long straight. But the last straight is the longest in the sport equivalent to 11 football pitches laid end to end, or the same length as three and a half of the world’s biggest aircraft carriers.
