Australian GP: Hamilton kicks of his defence in style by taking pole

Lewis Hamilton has taken pole position for the season opening Australian Grand Prix from his team-mate Nico Rosberg by half a second. While it was the worse qualifying for Hamilton’s former team McLaren who qualified last. The case brought by Giedo van der Garde against Sauber has been adjourned by a Melbourne judge. The judge urged both parties to try and work out a solution ahead third practice.
