However, the brit still managed to extend his lead at the top of the championship.<\/p>\n<p>He told The National \u201cIt was a really bad performance from me, one of the worst in a long time,\u201d Hamilton said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut considering how bad it was, one thing I can take from it is that I never gave up. There was never a moment where I was like, \u2018I\u2019ll throw my toys out of the pram \u2013 it is over\u2019. I never gave up hope of turning my wrong into a right.\u201d He added.<\/p>\n<p>Hamilton said he wasn\u2019t happy to see Nico Rosberg\u2019s late drama in the race.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best man to guide through problems <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has told AFP that F1 needs Berine Ecclestone more than ever to get through the sports current difficulties. In the interview Horner gave Ecclestone praise.<\/p>\n<p>He said \u201cBernie has done a great job for Formula One and the success of Formula One is all because of Bernie Ecclestone. F1 needs him more than ever now to guide us through this difficult period.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Horner also moaned about the possibility of a 21 race season next year saying he hopes that the calendar will be cut down because \u201cIt looks tough for everybody.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Horner said Red Bull\u2019s improved performance wasn\u2019t due to the presence of Red Bull&#8217;s technical director Adrian Newey, who appears more rarely at races.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No compromise on safety<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Force India has denied claims of compromising safety in the fight for fifth in the championship. The team are currently defending the place from Lotus and Toro Rosso.<\/p>\n<p>The team introduced a \u2018B spec\u2019 car which has been more completive but suffered two dangerous structural failures in Hungary.<\/p>\n<p>Sporting director Otmar Szafnauer says the team doesn\u2019t play with safety adding the team \u201cshowed that on Friday, when we didn&#8217;t let Hulkenberg out until we knew exactly what was the reason for Perez&#8217;s crash. This must not happen again\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Changes for Singapore GP <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Organisers of the Singapore Grand Prix have announced changes to the circuit at Marina Bay Circuit ahead of this year\u2019s race. The area around Turn 11 to Turn 13 to \u00a0integrate the areas at Esplanade Park and Empress Place.<\/p>\n<p>Turn 11 will be realigned to be level with left-hand side of Fullerton which will lower the corner speed compared to last year&#8217;s race. Turn 12 will be modified slightly so that drivers now enter the left lane of Anderson Bridge.
