The report claimed that the team were about to enter a technical and brand partnership with Aston Martin.<\/p>\n<p>Wolff denied that any talks were already under way with the Austrian team. If the deal went ahead it would majorly shake up the market. Wolff said \u201cThere are many, many things to be considered. What happens if Renault decides to have their own team and buy another team? Will they continue to supply Toro Rosso and Red Bull and, if not, what are the solutions?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Red Bull team principal Christian Horner called the report \u201cpurely speculation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aston Martin return?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aston Martin has had discussions Williams and Force India according to Autosport\u00a0 as its evaluation of a possible return to the sport. Aston Martin is part owned by Mercedes and it understood to have given its blessing to such an arrangement.<\/p>\n<p>Three of Mercedes powered teams Williams, Force India and Lotus are believe to be in the picture. Should a deal happen, Aston Martin would get branding on the car&#8217;s, with Mercedes recognised as the official engine supplier.<\/p>\n<p>CEO Andy Palmer told the magazine \u201cThe paddock is always full of rumours. We have to explore ways of getting Aston Martin&#8217;s name known around the world and we currently use the World Endurance Championship principally to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>7\/7 ten years on \u2013 British Grand Prix<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ten years on since the 2005 London Bombing where 52 people were killed in attacks across the capital F1 gathered at Silverstone. The Fin is yet to reach an agreement to stay with the team for next season, and Arrivabene has stated in the past he is in no hurry to make a decision.<\/p>\n<p>He told Autosport \u201cAt the right time we will communicate with Kimi what we are going to do and that&#8217;s it.\u201d He said previously that his future is in his own hands and he repeated it again.<\/p>\n<p>Raikkonen\u2019s team-mate Sebastian Vettel said ahead of the British Grand Prix he would be happy for the 35-year-old to be retained for next year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Village idiot<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>McLaren boss Ron Dennis has called the BBC pundit and Former team boss Eddie Jordan a &#8220;village idiot&#8221; for suggesting that he should step down. Dennis refused to \u00a0criticise Honda in the interview with Sky.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan branded McLaren\u2019s management as \u201carrogant\u201d and that they should go. McLaren have had a difficult season and are behind with their development. \u00a0He said the MP4-30 chassis is coming along well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cData is something we focus on all the time and our car performance is actually extremely good here.
