Nico Rosberg went fastest in second practice with both Ferraris of Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel separating him from his Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton.<\/p>\n
It was another difficult session for the world champion after he struggled and even aborted his race-simulation run because of the car’s handling. The champion struggled to control his car saying on team radio \u201cThe car is all over the place. I can’t go any faster than I am now.”<\/p>\n
Both Mercedes despite Hamilton\u2019s problems look to be in a league of their own, ahead of Sunday’s race. They had a comfortable over Ferrari on both low and high fuel in the region of 0.5secs a lap.<\/p>\n
Red Bull\u2019s Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo were fifth and sixth suggesting that there car will suit the circuit. Rounding out the top ten were Toro Rosso Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz who were separated by the Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg with Williams’s Felipe Massa tenth.<\/p>\n
Romain Grosjean brought the red flag after he beach the Lotus in the gravel. Fernando Alonso nearly followed but managed to drive through the gravel trap and rejoin.<\/p>\n
Manor’s Roberto Merhi spun and stopped, causing a second brief stoppage. Fernando Alonso went off in the same place but managed to re-join.<\/p>\n
