The fin set his fastest lap forty minutes into the session after the top runners had switched to supersoft tyres.<\/p>\n<p>The Mercedes duo were never far away with Nico Rosberg .2 of a second down on Raikkonen and team-mate Lewis Hamilton fourth .5 of a second down. While Red Bull\u2019s Daniel Ricciardo was fourth. After an incident packed first session the second session began with drama for Esteban Gutierrez.<\/p>\n<p>The Mexican\u2019s Haas breaks caught fire, after he spent much of the morning in the pits the afternoon wasn\u2019t much better and he was back for the much of the afternoon. Renaults Kevin Magnussen also had his own difficulties working on reported problems with his rear suspension.<\/p>\n<p>Jenson Button put in a good performance to put McLaren fastest but then came as normal the Mercedes of Rosberg going faster than him. Hamilton failed to respond but then came Vettel going faster on a 37.0 and then Raikkonen broke into the 36.8.<\/p>\n<p>The fins lap wasn\u2019t that clean either but it was good enough to go better than Vettel\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>While Ferrari look better on one lap pace the Mercedes look better over the longer runs. However Ferrari was looking good in Bahrain on one lap pace only to be beaten by Mercedes on the long runs and in qualifying.<\/p>\n<p>Vettel told the BBC \u201cIf we get everything right, we can potentially be a bit closer.
