Felipe Massa has been excluded from the Brazilian Grand Prix after the stewards decided that his right rear tyre was found not to have comply with the maxium tyre temperatures before the race.\u00a0The williams drivers tyres were 27c over the maximum temperature ahead of the race.<\/p>\n
Massa had finished his home Grand Prix eighth ahead of Lotus’s Pastor Maldondo and Toro Roso’s Max Verstappen who will now move up one place.\u00a0The stewards were asked to decided if Massa’s car was in ‘breach of Article 12.5.1 of the Technical Regulations, Article 3.2 of \u00a0Sporting Regulations and Article 12.11.i of the FIA International Sporting Code’ and excluded the Brazilian from the race results.<\/p>\n
Before the exclusion Massa told Sky Sports “Massa said: “I have no idea what has happened. Everything I did was the same as other races. With the pace I had I don’t believe anything was different.”<\/p>\n
