Mercedes have said they may have to start \u2018manage\u2019 the new feud between their two drivers this season. The latest row began after Nico Rosberg accused Lewis Hamilton of holding him up and \u201cunnecessarily slowly\u201d in the Chinese Grand Prix and backing him up into Ferrari\u2019s Sebastian Vettel.<\/p>\n

Hamilton has said that Rosberg didn\u2019t try to make a move on him during the race. The latest row has meant that team boss Toto Wolff has issued a warning of that they could make a \u201cunpopular call\u201d if the team was at risk of losing out. Wolff told Sky Sports \u201cIt is not just the two guys out there but about a thousand people working on these cars. If it ever comes to a point of interfering between the two of them because we risk to lose a race win, we would do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

But, Wolff has said the team will not allow the situation to become like the one between Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello in the early 2000\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Third best team <\/strong><\/p>\n

Williams\u2019s drivers Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas have accepted that the team has fallen behind Ferrari and is the third fastest team.<\/p>\n

For the second race in a row both drivers have finished in fifth or sixth place and were more than 40 seconds behind a quartet of Mercedes and Ferrari during the Chinese Grand Prix. However were comfortably clear of Romain Grosjean’s Lotus in seventh before the safety car came out.<\/p>\n

Massa told Autosport \u201cIt looks now quite clearly that we are the third-quickest team. We have a good margin from the rear so we just need to try to do anything we can to move forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

More problems ahead<\/strong><\/p>\n

Renault has says that reliability problems that hit Red Bull and Toro Rosso in the Chinese Grand Prix may well strike again in Bahrain.<\/p>\n

It was a difficult weekend after Daniel Ricciardo required a precautionary engine change after qualifying and the race taking the Australian to his third engine out of four. While his team-mate Daniil Kvyat and Toro Rosso’s Max Verstappen retired from the race with Renault failures.<\/p>\n

Renault F1 boss Cyril Abiteboul said the company knew it had taken reliability gambles in its push for more performance this season. Adding the problems wasn\u2019t a surprise telling reporters \u201cWe knew that the first engine we built had some reliability weaknesses. The plan is to make sure that the future engine we will be building has absolutely no reliability issues.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tradition Under attack<\/strong><\/p>\n

World champion Lewis Hamilton has been attacked by feminist campaigner\u2019s after spraying a hostess with champagne after winning Sundays Chinese Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

He sprayed the champagne in the face of the woman on the podium which a group Object which campaigns against sexism has condemned. Object campaigns against on media sexism and ‘sex object culture’.<\/p>\n
