BAHRAIN GP: Hamilton king of the desert after second victory

Lewis Hamilton has won the Bahrain Grand Prix for the second year in a row to extend his lead at the top of the driver’s world championship. BAHRAIN GP – Rosberg pips Hamilton in practice two

Nico Rosberg has gone marginally quicker than his team-mate in second practice ahead of this weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix. Rosberg was 0.115 seconds quicker than Lewis Hamilton and 0.5 second faster than Kimi Raikonen’s Ferrari. Hamilton spent most the session on race -simulation runs on the ‘medium’ tyre as Mercedes tried to evaluate both tyres.
